I will sing and I can sing about pretty much everything,” he added, “But I don’t like to be put in the limelight and told to sing; then I get hesitant. I like to sing on my own.”
Besides bearing an avowed prominence as well as popularity among the superstars of the Bollywood industry through his acting and dancing style, Salman Khan has now shifted his interest into singing. The only thing is to know about what are the reasons that have urged Salman to sing?
Songs are the major source to provide relief our minds and soothes our ears. Music is a food for life and it is the truth that is above all. There are many genres of songs that are being produced through Bollywood filmmakers. The songs are formerly recorded with the sound tracks of the playback singers and later they are played in the movies with the scenes of male and female protagonists’ lip-sync movements. Salman has made a large number of movies and songs with such lip-sync scenes but he is now going to be as the part of those playback singers.
After the blockbuster song, ‘Hang Over’ Salman Khan is going to lend his voice for another song, ‘Main Hoon Tera Hero’ from the film, ‘Hero’ that is being produced with his co-production. He is too close with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty that he launched both of them in his recent movie that was released today 11th September, 2015. Salman Khan is extremely happy with the success of his latest song Main Hoon Tera Hero which is the title song of the film as well. Asking about the slogan of the movie that is Rebel, love and freedom, Salman says, “My contribution to Hero. I have contribution towards love, freedom and some what for rebels,” he added, “Sooraj Barjatya (director of Maine Pyaar Kiya) at that time was not an established face but he produced Salman Khan in the industry. It is about how good the film and its music is.. The audience response makes film successful and make stars.”
With production, he is also intended to become a director and wanted to promote his ideas behind the camera too, but he says,
"I wanted to be a movie director," he explained, "But everyone, who I showed my scripts to, told me I should be an actor. So I decided to try that, and if I may say so myself, I think I've succeeded."
Talking about the intimacy with the foe-curved-friend Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan has thrown out his thoughts that he is a better singer than Shahrukh. When it was asked from Rahat Fateh Ali Khan that who is the best singer, Salman Khan or Shahrukh Khan, he chose a very safe reply and said, “I have heard only Salman Khan’s song. I am yet to hear Shah Rukh Khan’s song. Salman bhai can sing himself.”
Salman interrupted the singer while saying, “No chance… it’s a losing battle. Don’t listen. He (Shah Rukh Khan) will raise my hand (in victory).” Talking about an established singer, he added, “I felt, why not take Amaal… He has the tune, he has composed the song (title song) well and he also sings well. Himesh Reshamiyan and Sajid Wajid can sing, his uncle (Anu Malik) also sings then why not him? He should get a chance.”
